Top 100 (2): UCLA (33), Northwestern (78)
The Good?: It's not Wooden/Walton/Wilkes vs. Phelps/Dantley/Shumate circa 1974, but there's always a little nostalgia when the Irish and Bruins get together in South Bend. Will Mike Brey have his guys wear green?
The (not so) Bad?: While making excuses for his team's underwhelming performance in Big East play this past season, this summer Brey was heard taking potshots at Big 10 basketball, even after his team lost to both Ohio State & Penn State. My $$$$$ says those comments have made their way to Northwestern's bulletin board.
The Ugly?: This is a spineless schedule put together by Brey. You're the coach of a team with a likely first-team All-American in Luke Harangody, and this is the best you can do? Way to challenge your team, Mike, a soft home schedule (save for UCLA) and nary a true road game in the bunch. And the only two games outside of South Bend are in "home away from home" Chicago.
