The Good?: John Thompson III certainly isn't following in his father's footsteps in terms of nonconference scheduling (where's the infamous St. Leo?). This is a nice schedule, and it doesn't even require an exempt tournament to raise it up to an acceptable level.

The (not so) Bad?: The Hoyas should look out for ODU. The Monarchs are always near the top of the Colonial Athletic Association, and this year should be no different.

The Ugly?: Tommy Amaker and his crimson turtleneck certainly should take a beating when they visit D.C. just before Christmas.
