Pantherhawk sighting - Indiana edition

I can only say that I am glad that we have him so obsesses with anger and his hatred for us that it ruins his life, the poor miserable son of a bitch.

Are we sure he isn't in St. Peter at the haha Hilton?

There was another comment in that bunch by someone else that is almost as bad:

"Minnesota doesn't have any real rivals so they're looking to stoke a fire under Nebraska to make that a rivalry. Not likely."

Uhmm, yeah..

Reading the other posts, it sounds like the Hoosiers have some pretty decent people as football fans. Looks like there are only a few of them, but still, seem like decent people.

I saw that gem also. Wow, just wow. Luckily, someone down the thread corrected him pretty quickly.

Here is another PH gem from the Minnesota thread on that site. Too funny.

A roll? LMAO! NW is 0-4 in the B1G. NE is 2-1 in the B1G with it's two "big" wins coming vs. 0-3 IL and 0-3 Purdue. Mediocre MI and IA both b@1ch stomped MN into complete submission. Look at these facts and you don't have to wonder why Indiana is favored any more!

It doesn't look like he's been able to rile anyone at the Hoosiers board. That must be discouraging for him.

Yea - They seem to be a pretty stable fan base. What I liked best is that they didn't bite on Pantherhawk's venom. I do realize that the U of I string had a small sample size, but their fans seems to be much classier than either Wisconsin or Iowa.

Why can't we have an emoticon like that one!?!

Pantherhawk is too pitiful a wretch to hate, I just pity him. He doesn't seem to really even be a fan of Iowa or Northern Iowa - he rarely, if ever posts about them. Instead, he's an anti-fan, with his whole life devoted to hating the Gophers. I honestly pity him, he obviously has nothing else going on. He wanders aimlessly, searching for those few boards that haven't banned him yet. He doesn't usually find takers, people know his shtick - he doesn't have any respect for Indiana.

Annoying as he is, I would love to get a chance to sit down with that guy. Does anyone know how he came about his obsession with our football team? I've never seen anything even remotely like it. It's really, really sad, sure, but also kind of fascinating.

I'm not sure if he'll ever venture out of his mom's basement so it may be tough.

All kidding aside, I really just think he loves the attention. That's why he continues to use the PantherHawk name when he goes on message boards. He wants everyone to know who it is because he thinks he is really making a difference.

There is a Master's thesis out there for somebody in the social sciences cataloging the online exploits of one Mr. Pantherhawk. I for one, would encourage someone to try and decipher the insane machinations of this troubled person's mind.

He doesnt keep just that name. I post mainly on another forum for Gopher sports, and he has been there numerous times under other names...but when you do call him out on being PantherHawk, he does own up to it being him.

Wow, PantherHawk is seriously troubled. LOL I can't imagine having that much hatred for a sports team or feel the need to waste so much time bitchin' about them. It must drive him crazy when he can't get any positive feedback.

The poor boy is totally unable to stir the pot. Aside from their insane hope that they can win this game, I like those Indiana fans.

I've wondered this myself. At some point, something must have happened that just flipped a switch for the guy.

Someone should try to interview. Seriously, it would be pretty hilarious.

I'm not even kidding...that guy is a headline just waiting to be written. I think there is a better than 50/50 chance he absolutely losses it in a very public manner, like at a game. I think he has some very serious, very deep issues.

His head is like a powder keg, and his hair is on fire.

If I recall, there was a time when the Desolate One actually had some interest in Iowa and Northern Iowa. That seems to have withered away, leaving only his hatred of the Gophers.

Now, a proper hatred of a rival can be a good and healthy thing, but in the case of the Desolate One, it's seems to be pathological. I think someone should have an interview with him, but that interview should be conducted by a trained professional.

As long as he was on the other side of the glass, he was in an orange jumpsuit, and we were talking on a phone, I could do a sit-down with him.

Went to the Indiana Scout board to see their thoughts, and what do I see? He came back after the game to tell the Hoosier fans that their team sucks and to congratulate them on "busting up that punk Christianson."

Wow.

He has been doing it all season long on every one of our opponents scout boards. I know that he has a strong distaste for us but seriously this is beyond crazy. His persistence is insane. Plus posing as a girl on Facebook to convince our recruits not to go to the U. What the hell?

I wonder what the hell he is going to come up with against Penn State.

On the plus side, you know that this is definitely killing him inside.

Wow. To congratulate them for that... That is seriously sick. I've always just assumed he was bored and a little strange. But that is pathological. He needs help and I really mean it. I will root against Iowa, but I never want to see any of their players taken to the hospital (which I hope is true of everyone on this board). I know you are reading this, ph. So please, find help before you hurt yourself or others. There are people who can really help you. You can feel better about things. If you don't know where to start, try a family physician. They can offer some help and point you in the right direction from there.
