The Esko girl's bb team's center is 6-9 and headed to UCLA. Pam talked to her but decided she wasn't a fit. Really????

The 6-7 recruit from Minnesota she signed a couple of years ago finished her college career in the marching band.

Why is she still here? Seriously.

Sorry Bleed, I meant which one quit & ended up playing in the marching band?

Growing up about 20 minutes from Esko I can say I have seen her play a few times in person. I know nothing of wbb so don't really know if she would have been a good fit for the gophs or not.

Name escapes me, but she was I believe from Forest Lake. In regards to Trapp, she is very raw. The UCLA coach says she has great hands and quick feet. I remember what Jim Dutcher said about Randy Bruer: " Randy has very soft hands and catches the ball extremely well for a post player. You can't teach height" He will be a very good player by the time he leaves the U"
Trapp is a project and I don't think she will be a " player " till her RS sophomore year. I can't believe I'm saying this , but I'll agree with Pam on this one. She has the 6'5" Swedish gal coming in next year and two gals the same size in the 2014 class. Pam needs to start winning. The Trapp girl is 3 years away from helping.

Amber Dvorak from Hinckley-Finlayson.

Trapp will probably be better, but height is the main thing right now. I would guess she peaks as an Alyssa DeHaan-type at Michigan State and not like Brittney Griner at Baylor.

If she ends up like DeHaan it will be a pretty nice pickup for UCLA. I had a chance to coach against Trapp when she was just a 6'6" 8th grader talk about a height advantage.

Whatever the good and bad of Pam's recruiting over the years, passing on Trapp is not even in the conversation. Missing on Rebekah Dahlman, Nia Coffey, Tyseanna Johnson, Jessica January and Jade Martin, the big 5 of the Mighty 2013s, the best Minnesota high school class, now that's worth talking about.

If there's a women's basketball big who is raw for a center, no offense, but that must mean that she's a major stiff and is wouldn't be playing basketball if she weren't tall.
