The head coach of the Golden Gophers made one young journalists day Tuesday.
P.J. Fleck took time Tuesday to take part in a special local event. He made a guest appearance at a special UMN Children’s press conference.
What made the press conference so special is that it was run by children journalists. The kids took turns asking questions with popular professional athletes from Minnesota answering them in stride.
During Fleck’s appearance, one of the children asked the athletes to sing “Itsy Bitsy Spider.” Not only did the athletes oblige, but Fleck also went a step further. He provided spot-on hand motions to the song.
