The Gophers had a chance for a walk-off win to start the season for the second straight year. But this time, Dragan Kesich didn’t make the kick. He beat Nebraska last year, but his kick from 47 yards out Thursday as time expired drifted wide right. In the first quarter, he also missed a 27-yard chip shot off the right upright.
