It's not until at least the 3rd or 4th week of December that the RPI legitimately starts taking shape, but just for the heck of it here's how Jerry Palm's CollegeRPI.com web site ranks B1G teams through Sunday.

1. Northwestern #18
2. Ohio State #24
3. GOPHERS #29
4. Purdue #53
5. Wisconsin #64
6. Michigan State #84
7. Indiana #107
8. Penn State #117
9. Iowa #173
10. Nebraska #223
11. Illinois #250
12. Michigan #270

Let's give it up for Northwestern. Not the greatest field (similar to the Old Spice), but the Wildcats looked pretty good in defeating LSU, Tulsa and Seton Hall to win the Charleston Classic. Tourney MVP Drew Crawford played like a beast. Looks like he's added to his game, not just a 3-point shooter anymore. Shurna was Shurna, too.

Ha - The Spartans played Duke and N. Carolina and rank in the middle of the B1G. Fun to see how these numbers change in the next few weeks.
