this is hilarious - has anyone posted on this yet?

In Adel's defense, everything he says makes it sound like he had nothing to do with the break in. He also doesnt seem down for making up a lie, which Erik Murphy seems to want to do. regardless, he was with them and was arrested. Our athletic department definitely seems to love giving guys second chances - at least to pitino's staff. Given Adel's age and how relatively-recent this happend, he sure made his way from the outhouse to the penthouse rather quickly.

I think the charges against Adel were dropped.

I'll chalk it up to an isolated mistake.

The U must be addicted to drama.

Listened to the audio.. Adel was pretty level headed. Sounds like he was trying to babysit a couple of players and it didn't work out well. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but the "bro talk" is a fun listen.

Sounds like Adel was pretty damn intelligent in that situation, obviously after the underage drinking, watching some friends break into a car and all.....

Sounded like he tried to stop them, told them they were being *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#-heads, but they went about it anyway. Nothing to see here really, though it does kind of give fodder to a specific set of people who want to rip on the program.

totally agree. The audio tape from the cop car was probably the best thing that could have happened to him in that situation.
