Portland's going to lose to Idaho by 20+ points, a team that has lost to Texas Southern and Cal State-Northridge.

Man, that is surprising. I had Portland pegged as a 24- or 25-win team after seeing them beat Oregon, UCLA and Minnesota. I guess they just got hot at the right time.

Yeah it was pretty obvious that they weren't that good - we just played TERRIBLE defense that day, continuing to double down inside against a 3-point shooting team. Then we did the same thing the next night against Texas A&M; and people still wonder why we lost those 2 games?

I've seen a few Vandals games

and they are a good experienced squad, much better nthan the BSU team thatjust lost at Illinois by 7 last night. but are erratic on the road.

Actually against A&M the Gophers got burned when they went to a 2-3 zone. Between suspended players and foul trouble they were shorthanded the last half of the first half, so they played zone and got burned by A&M's 3 pointers. it wasn't doubling down that hurt the Gophers in that game.
