Only 5 players included in the state rankings this year? Come on.
I know that the 2012 class is much deeper and has some good talent, but man alive, tough year to build from within. Hopefully the coaches can identify some unheralded guys like Crawford-Tufts or Parsons.

It is what it is, but you should note that most of the states got less players ranked than in previous years.
 

From what I have seen, the only guy on that list that I think is a lock to contribute on a D-1 roster is Tommy Olson. The other 4 in the top 5 all have questions that prevent me from calling them locks to contribute.

Possibly the worst class of high school football players to roll through MN in the last 15 years.
