Purdue is currently up 52-45 on Wisconsin in Madison, 10:34 left to play, Wisconsin is in the midst of their second 5+ minute scoring drought this game. Michigan State at Michigan later today should be a good one as well.

Ryan Evans is jump shooting free throws. Wut.

I was hoping that our win over Indiana wouldn't lead to Wisconsin winning the conference. Fun game to watch, let's drub the Boilers after we get done with the Huskers.

Purdue wins by 13. Hope Purdue pulls a Penn St.

Definitely. Wisconsin led for most the first half, but then their 3 pointers stopped falling and Purdue built up a lead in the second half. Exactly half of Wisconsin's shot attempts were 3 pointers, 27 of 54, and they shot 6-27 from three. If we can consistently score inside, I like our chances against the Boilers. Relative to Wisconsin's 3 point attempt percentage, a bit under a third of our shots are 3 pointers, and Purdue shoots less than a quarter of their shots from beyond the arc. Wisconsin on the season has shot a little over a third of their shots from 3.

We should also be cheering for Michigan State over Michigan today; if Michigan loses their last three, (Michigan State, @Purdue, Indiana), and we win out, we tie for 5th in the conference. It might also give us a small RPI boost since we play Michigan State twice and Michigan only once. Also, personally I'd rather see the Spartans win the conference than anyone else at this point, though I'd be okay with Indiana.

Given the remaining schedules of the top five teams in the B1G there is a possibilty of a 4 way tie for first place between Indiana, Michigan, Ohio State and either Michigan State or Wisconsin. The final records would be 13-5. It,s not implausible due to the fact that Indiana plays both Michigan and Ohio State to finish the season. If Indiana loses both those games they are tied with MI & tOSU at 13-5. Becky and and Michigan State have an elimination game to determine the fourth possibility at 13-5. Could be a crazy final week in the B1G.

Indiana already has 13 wins, they're 13-3, but yes, if they lose their last two to Michigan and Ohio State, and Michigan and Ohio State win their last two, and the winner of Wisconsin @ Michigan State wins their other remaining game, then it would be 4 teams tied for first at 13-5.

Also, Michigan's win over Michigan State today guaranteed that the highest we can finish now is 6th.

Thanks for pointing out my error, Cayman. I'll correct my post.

Did any of your guys notice that Virginia lost today, to a crappy team. Of the most recent court rushing teams, so far we are the only team that won their following game.

Probably popped Virginia's bubble, at least temporarily. There is always the ACC tourney. But they couldn't lose todays game.
