Stony Brook defeated Rutgers 71-54 at Piscataway. Rutgers, missing a couple of players, watched the Sea Wolves run by in the second half

UCLA was fun to watch last night in beating Oklahoma. Kneepkens was great. Knew she could really shoot. Didn’t know she can also be crafty off the bounce. What a huge addition to the Bruins. Leger-Walker also looked like a great addition. If Sienna Betts can be a good 7th/8th player (Dugalic is a great 6 and Gardiner is a streaky good 7th), UCLA might be a formidable # 2 to UConn’s # 1.

January 11 (USC) and January 14 (UCLA) will be a great week in Williams. The Gophers are the only team in the league to play UCLA and USC back-to-back at home.

Iowa rallied to defeat Baylor 57-52
Can’t stand Iowa and Jan Jensen; but, I’m jealous of that program. Shooters, bigs who can run the floor and rebound, and lots of grit. Thats how you keep a program relevant, go get a top 10 win on national television.

Somehow #7th seeded is allowing Addi Mack(not rated recruit) to play 40 minutes score 15 pts, 6 assists, 5 reb, 2 steals and only 2 turnovers running the point against a 16 seed Kentucky. I knew with here speed she would be good at the collegiate level. Wish she was a Gopher!

In Fort Myers Iowa State (9-0) defeated Indiana (7-1) 106-95
