Good, now we just need Carlberg to commit and i'd also like a 6-7/6-8 OT as well, probably Connelly. Losing Schmidt won't hurt as much either.

And Cincinatti, home state BCS team that has made a BCS bowl in the last couple of years i guess.

Nice! I remember Coach Kill on KFAN talking about how Coach Mason used to recruit in Ohio. Something like this:

"We want to get back. Other schools are closer and It's so competitive but if we can get 2-3 guys out of Ohio that's all you're trying to do."
 

Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Illinois are the hotbeds for high school football in as far as the big ten goes.

I would would like to pluck some kids out of all the B1G states though. Makes Minnesota look good when they choose us over another B1G school. And gives the players an extra fire in their belly when playing against their hometown team.

Quote from Stieber's high school offensive coordinator via 247:

"Minnesota is going to turn that program around. I know a lot of High School coaches hold that staff in high regards and that helps in recruiting.”

That quote isn't surprising but it's still good to hear.

“I’ve always liked Minnesota,” said Stieber, who has cousins and an uncle who attended Minnesota and still live there. “When I had the opportunity to play football there, it was a no-brainer for me.”

“I really like the coaching staff and the players,” Stieber said. “They all seem to get along really well. They all have a common goal of winning, and have gotten better over the three years Coach Kill has been there.”

Oh scoot scoot - YOU just don't get how hard it is in the Big 10 for MY GOPHERS. Blah blah. Mason made us competitive in 2 games vs Michigan. Blah blah. Kill may be good BUT blah blah blah.

Wow, he takes personal shots at me and others all the time. I type one short sentence making fun of the length of his posts and I'm the one with no class? Okay.

I disagree with this statement on so many levels, most of which could be summarized by "what comes around goes around", but I will honor your request.
