There are a couple of things we know:
1. Rick is in a very uncomfortable situation in Louisville and Kentucky as a whole.
2. It will take at least two years for Rick to replenish the roster and have a legit shot at the Final Four again.
Also, I am reasonably sure that Rick would love a validation at the NBA level with a championship ring, and he is getting old. So, I would not be surprised to see him leaving Louisville soon though I would brand him as gutless if he did.
Another possibility, though not highly likely, is that he and Louisville are testing the fanbase and the public in general after the fiasco involving the extortion.
I hope Rick stays for at least another year to weather the storm and, if at all, leave when everything is back close to normalcy. And, I will give him more credit as a man.
