I was way ahead of you on the Diamond watch. Nice you caught up. RT @EvanDanielsFOX: Diamond Stone now the No. 1 recruit in the 2015 class.

As a Marquette Law alum, I really hope they can snag this guy in their back yard. But more importantly I hope Wisconsin doesn't get him. With Dekker, Koenig and Stone, they'd be pretty solid. I'm guessing he'll probably end up at Kentucky or another elite program. It's also kind of interesting that the #1 recruit in 2014 is from Minnesota and the #1 recruit in 2015 is from Wisconsin. It would also be interesting to see a Henry Ellenson and Diamond Stone matchup in the State Tourney (assuming Ellenson hasn't moved to the cities by then).

I think Ellenson is in Division 2 vs. Stone in Division 4... however, I did watch them match up in October at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado.. some of my notes from that weekend are HERE...

Stone's a stud.. of course MU has his PG Duane Wilson coming to school next season.. but Diamond will have his pick of many schools.

I know he's 6'10", 250+, but you would think the #1 recruit would have a better vertical that what that video was mostly showing. Just my opinion.

I kind of thought the same thing. He does have some great footwork for a kid his size though. Might be a weak class for athletic big men? I know Ellenson is ranked really high too despite not having much of a vertical game.

Leave it to a WI idiot to name their kid Diamond Stone

On his slo-motion jam in that video I think he got about 6 inches off the ground.

That kids 15 years old, you can't teach size. I'm sure his athleticism will develop as he gets older.

It looks like in the video that he is just exploiting his huge size advantage. How will that translate when he's going up against guys just as tall as him?

Looked to me like he has good hands and an ability to pass the ball. I just think it's funny that people try to act like they know more than the people evaluating basketball talent for a living... especially when they're doing it via a youtube video. Scouts must think this kid will grow even bigger and that his skillset is strong.

Hey, a profession where you only need to be right 50 percent of the time. What could be better?
