Anybody have the first update on how Ticket Sales for this Saturday? I am hoping for a sellout, but I know that might not be realistic with the weather forecast.

Just drop the tickets to $25 and sell what you can. Last game of the year. Nothing to gain by having empty seats.
No argument here but Season Ticket Holder's would definitely throw a fit. The marketing/ticketing department did that for a game last year to sell the last few 1,000 seats and a bunch of STH'ers were not happy.
I'm a season ticket holder and I don't care if they give the tickets away. I want the place full of Gopher fans, and I want the win.
What he said ^^
Just fill the place up -- I would bet that if you polled all season ticket holders, myself included, most would rather see a full house and great atmosphere!
As a fellow season ticket holder and on and off GLC Member, I say screw them. Get this place full and rocking! If ever there is a game where our team needs our support, it's this one! I will be there. I will also lose my voice and possibly get sick again, but like the Iowa game, I won't miss it unless I am room temperature. Well considering the conditions, room temp or colder.
Go Gophers!
It's not impressive
Tickets are not moving slower than molasses at the moment. To shed some light, after the Iowa game there were about 1800 seats available on Stubhub and there are now ~1630. Some quick math shows that about 50-60 tickets are being sold per day. Sales should tick up later in the week, as scalpers will eventually have to cut their prices and the market will collapse.
On MyGopherSports, there are still 1000s of seats remaining and they are not moving very quickly either. As of now it does not look like we will be anywhere near a sellout.
Gave my tickets away today as I will be out of town. One of my coworkers was thrilled to get the tickets, and could care less about the tempurature.
Jerry Kill and the Gophers are a great story.
TCF is a great venue.
We will be fine.
This is a game where the dome would benefit the fans.I think it would be close to a sell out. The early shot fired by Winter has bummed a lot of people out. People say MinPnesotan's are hale and hearty.
Not so if you're sitting in a cold stadium. We hate the cold just as much as everybody else when you're not active
Although I plan to be at the game (sorry you can't make it), I have two extra tix and will either give them away to family or friends I know will cheer loudly for the Gophers or, I will try and scalp them cheaply to someone decked out in maroon and gold and clearly a fan. I refuse to sell them to professional scalpers and will eat them before stooping that low (yes, professional scalpers are easy to pick out).
A special call out to the guy who sits in Section 243, Row 4 and sold me a ticket last Saturday so my son could attend the game with us. We were all loud and had a great time. I plan to sell my tix the same way you did. Again, a big thank you!
Shaking your fist at the fan base doesn't get them to come to the stadium.

We'll be there. Hudson Bay coat and matching plaid bomber hat with a gold M, flask of 12 year oldPlease don't make excuses for the fan base. Absolutely NO reason for this game not to be sold out -- with a Big Ten title contending Gopher team vs. the #8 team in the nation. Not coming because of the cold weather...good God...give the seats away to someone man enough to handle it. Go Gophers!
