I was thinking last night: Minnesota is facing a pretty impressive list of opposing QB's.
-Matt Barkley
-Denard Robinson
-Taylor Martinez
-James Vandeberg (Iowa fans would have you believe he's the 2nd coming of Chuck Long)
-Kirk Cousins
-Russell Wilson
-Dan Persa
-Nathan Scheelhaase
The list may not be knockdown names, but Barkley will most like be a 1st rounder, I'm guessing Cousins & Persa will find themselves on NFL rosters for for at least a few seasons, Vandeberg could, and who knows with potential position changes to Robinson, Martinez & Scheelhaase in 5-7 years.
In the past, has there been a better overall list of opposing QB's?
-1998: Top heavy with Brees, Brady & Randle-El along with Joe Germaine. (Pretty impressive, but drops off after that. I'm not tossing on Mike Samuel on this list no matter how many games he won)
-2002: Banks, Krenzel, Navarre, Bollinger, Orton, Matt Jones
I tried using 2727Gophers football history site, but box scores aren't shown for games from early 90s/80s on back....
