Viila 7, a national recruiting agency, has announced an open casting call for all high school seniors to college sophmores, whose portfolio includes game footage of having actually played point guard. Expected skills include, but are not limited to, ability to dribble the ball up court while loosely guarded while not commiting unforced errors, ability to dribble north and south as well as east/west, drive the lane without getting repeatedly stripped, cope with presses and zone presses, make interior passes to OPEN teammates, know how to finish and hit the occasional open J. Knowing how to tie your shoe laces while chewing gum is a bonus.
Due to the paucity of valid, prior applications for this position, and due to past applicants' penchant to lack requisite experience for this position, a bonded, notarized statement from a prior coach is required.
Applicants must be willing to accept 'understudy' and 'stand-in' PG status.
Portfolios should be delivered by no later than 05/15/13, c/o Dr. Don, to whom all additional questions should be directed.
