Yep, I graduated from this place! At least they're smart enough to laugh at themselves. It was volunteers who painted it so hard to get too embarrassed.
 

That's OK, 99.9% of the world celebrated the new century on 1/1/00, one year early as well.
 

It's a stylistic thing. Like wearing an onion on your belt.

Love it. I think we'l see more teams doing this in the future.

It's the best coverage that Minnesota-Crookston has had in a long time. Plus, the article mentions their winning a game.
 


It's déjà vu all over again. I played football at U of M - Morris circa 1993 and a group of volunteers also painted the “M” on the 45 instead of the 50 for homecoming. Like UM-Crooked, the game was our 1st win of the year. You can still suck on that, Iowa-Wesleyan!
 



not too take away from your guys fun, but i did hear that MN-Crookston student volunteers were asked to paint the logo on their field BEFORE the yard lines had been painted on the field. that may have led to their "miscalculation" on just where the center of the field was. ;-)

Not the yard lines, but the yard markers.
 

I put my car license renewal sticker in the wrong spot on my license plate and I never got any notoriety for that. $hit happens.
