I was coaching my sons team and turned it on at half time and MN was down 20+?

In the 2nd half thought MN outplayed Indiana for the most part, and they looked good.

What was the story in the first half?

Usually don't believe in moral victories, but this was a good comeback IMO, and no real shame in a road loss at a top 3 team (in my opinion)...

Indiana played great then I assume? Well not much you can do when a team is playing as well as they can and they are loaded with talent. I do think Indiana has more talent than MN, but in the 2nd half MN sure looked pretty good. Too bad about that rebound when it was 84-81...

It was really IU's defensive effort in the 1st half that impressed me. They were smothering to say the least.

You ever heard of the "Steel Curtain?" That's what we ran into in the first half and IU had 40 FT's against 15 for us.
