Yes, once in a Blue Moon the Gophers will win the Insight Bowl. A rare Blue Moon is scheduled for December 31st the evening of the Insight Bowl. We have had trouble winning the Insight Bowl but now on Dec. 31st we can expect to win "once in a blue moon!"
(For those of you who don't know the definition of a "Blue Moon" it only occurs when there is two full moons in the same month and it is the second one. This rarity happens this month on the 31st. The first one was one Dec 2nd.)
