Does TCU make the playoff? I say yes they are 1 of 4 teams.. That defense is one of the best I have seen. Wow doubled up max most of the day. All over our other WR.. On offensive those 2 WR are as athletic I have ever seen that guy up about 50 inches catching that ball on handed with ease for a touchdown. They are that good.
I don't think so. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Kansas State are worrisome games to me. The positive is that we play all of them at home, but unless we can fix the 3rd down conversion issue, I am still thinking we lose one or two of them close. On the road, West Virginia bothers me. Texas on Thanksgiving in Austin is still an unknown. They suck now, but if Charlie Strong can fix a few of their issues and utilize any of the talent on their roster between now and then, I am going to be worried about that one.
From what I have watched so far, I see Minnesota going 8-4 or 9-3. Nebraska in Lincoln and Wisconsin in Madison would be two that I check off as losses. Ohio State looks pathetic right now, but they are the B1G version of Texas. The game is so far down the road, and their roster has talent with a coach that will probably get them looking like an entirely different team by the middle of November. Chalk in Iowa as a toss up for me.
And on the bright side, Minnesota's fans are some of the nicest fans I have encountered on the internet, your defensive backs are great, and against B1G defenses, the Gophers should be able to throw the ball much better. (Your passing game was more productive than I had expected it to be; I figured right at 200 yards total offense - 100 on the ground, 100 in the air.)
I hope I am terribly wrong and by New Year's day TCU is sitting with a 12-0 and Minnesota is sitting with an 12-1 record. I am pulling for y'all from now on, and looking forward to watching your program pound through the Big 10 and beat San Jose State mercilessly. (Bad history there.) Go Frogs! Go Gophers!
