per the Omaha World Herald:

With 22 receptions for 256 yards through six games, Maye will be one of the Gophers for Nebraska to watch Saturday when the Huskers visit TCF Bank Stadium for a 2:30 p.m. game with Minnesota.

But then they probably already knew that.

Maye came up with a game-changing catch last season in Lincoln, keeping alive Minnesota’s go-ahead drive in a 28-24 comeback win. The Gophers faced third-and-6 from their 37 when Mitch Leidner connected with Maye on a 38-yard throw — and they scored five plays later with 3:25 left.

“It hit me right then that it was a big catch, and I’m like, ‘Let’s go. We’re going to win this game,’ ” Maye said. “It gave us a spark. It gave us some life.”
