Why don't players follow their shot anymore? Including free throws. This was very evident in the OSU game and would have resulted in a number of easy put backs or an offensive rebound then reset the O.
I know there is an emphasis on getting back on D. I understand. We used to teach that but certainly not to give up an opportunity to score and each player had their own responsibilities to get back.
With the emphasis on the three point shot, there seems to be more long rebounds which are often given up.
But it seems that has become a detriment and teams often miss on good opportunities.
