Ohio State in the first game of the season (2021)

Cal Stoll's teams were forced to play Ohio State in first game of the season in 1973 and '74. Results: 7-56 and 19-34. Stoll and Coach Salem played Ohio State as the second game of the season for four years: 7-38, 10-27, 17-21 (almost pulled that one out, but for a sure TD dropped by the untouched Gopher runner at the goal line) and 0-47.

But then, we don't do very well against Ohio State later in the season, either.
