I actually think this is funny. A friend of mine in Buckeye land sent me this from an Ohio State blog.

I didn't find it funny at all. I found it pretty dumb. "Ha ha, you fired your coach and his replacement didn't work out" isn't all that clever. Contrary to the cartoonist's opinion, getting to a lower tier bowl is not the goal.

I disagree about the condescenion. If we were talking about going further back in our FB history, then I would say that would be rubbing it in. As I see it, it really is about going back to the previous coach, who the cartoonist sees as "better."

It's a nice riff on the recent woes of the program.

Also don't forget that Mase is one of their own. Not good enough to coach them, but a buckeye none the less.
