Davis' focus throughout the off-season has been on getting back into shape, but he plans to start addressing the recruiting process again in the fall and a visit to Minnesota is a priority.

"They wanted me to come visit them, but I haven't had the chance to," Davis said. "I will be up there this fall for a game. They offered me to play running back and I could really see myself playing running back there."

Good to hear. We need at least one runningback in this class, and the only other two serious prospects I can think of at this point are Berkeley Edwards and Sherman Badie. I suspect that Bridgeport Tussler is a backup option/greyshirt possibility as well.

Davis would have a lot more offers if he didn't get hurt, but that's reason for concern at his position.
