I was thinking the same thing. Pair with Johnson and go for the repeat. He should play for the Bucs...would make my cheering interests easier.
And yet he'd still be on the bench when the game is on the line and they kick field goals for no reason...As much as I would hate to see him go to the Packers it would be a great opportunity for him since they have very little after Adams. He could easily jump in and be the #2 right off the bat.
And not a bad way to start your career with a HOF QB throwing passes to you.

As was discussed, they had a reason it was just a dumb one. Point still stands though that GB would provide a great opportunity for instant success as a rookie
Peak Pete smithWhy would the Packers be interested in him? They already have a couple of slow receivers who drop critical passes. His skill set is pretty much the same as all the other 3rd. round ( at best) receivers.
Will probably see 100 more prediction charts between now and draft. Yes some Gophers may end up with the Packers. So be it. Root for the guys making it to the NFL.
DAMN, how much fun is this? Arguing over which teams our Gophers will get drafted by. We had such a long dry spell of no draft picks, that this is so refreshing. There's nothing better than hearing "The University of Minnesota" on TV after one of them makes a play. Kill and Claeys got it started and Fleck is continuing on. Keep em coming PJ!
I would fully root for Bateman if he became a Packer. And I would begrudgingly be okay if the Packers did well....because in the end.....I am a bigger Gophers fan than Vikings fans. And I don't hate the Packers the way I hate the Badgers.
Bucs is Gopher territory!!!!He should play for the Bucs...would make my cheering interests easier.
QAnon helpline busy tonight Pete ?Why would the Packers be interested in him? They already have a couple of slow receivers who drop critical passes. His skill set is pretty much the same as all the other 3rd. round ( at best) receivers.
The problem is... I can't cheer for them once they are in the NFL.Will probably see 100 more prediction charts between now and draft. Yes some Gophers may end up with the Packers. So be it. Root for the guys making it to the NFL.

My least favorite teams:
Wisconsin > Iowa > Nebraska > Penn State > Green Bay

ExactlyYou think Jordan Love will be a hall of fame QB?

Because we all know how accurate mock draft experts are.

Bucs could then trade Evans!I was thinking the same thing. Pair with Johnson and go for the repeat.
