So nobody was watching but you were reading the NDSU message board about it?

I went to NDSU and am a diehard Gopher fan. I know lakes can get on your nerves, but I think you need to be careful. Two losses (nearly three) in four years to local fcs teams and you start mocking a team that overachieved? I don't understand your reasoning.

people are pretty passionate about their lower level football. I live in Youngstown which is home to the 4 time 1AA National Champions Penguins, and live under 30 minutes from the 36 time??? D3 Champion Mount Union (I have no clue how many they have won but it's ridiculous) But seriously, Youngstown State outdraws most MAC schools in attendance.
 

I believe Klondike's comment comes from the fact that LakesBison is an idiot. Sorry, I forgot to capitalize that. IDIOT. It really has very little to do with NDSU. I think we all recognize that they have a ton on MN kids on the team and they've been successful, etc ... It's all to do with their most persistent superfan and his unusual grammatical talents.

I kind of hope your kidding because I am an NDSU alum and I can tell you your so called "minor league" playoffs is an ignorant statement.

I was in Fargo for the game and there were dozens of fans showing their support for Bison football. Fargo is a great city who really cares about its football. To say that no one was watching is stupid. Fargo is a great city with great fans.

Bison football has a rich tradition of football success at both Division one and two levels (more so in DII of course)

The Bison are my second favorite team behind Minnesota. Have a little respect, I defended the Gophers to the death after NDSU beat them in 2008 and superfans claimed NDSU belonged in the Big 10 more than Minnesota.
