It's going to be a brilliant day of weather for the Gophers game vs Purdue. We can't ask for more than a 2:30 kickoff, amazing sunshine and warm November weather, a chance to win FOUR STRAIGHT Big Ten games, a great backfield and a chance to make some November noise in the Big Ten West. Purdue can put up some points, but they can also give up more. Get them down early and keep them down. Limit penalties, limit ejections and we've got this.

PE - words can't describe how pleasing it is to me that you, above all other posters here, read my post as an attempt at humor. I simply love that you still don't get it.

I really fear this game. I watched Purdue play Nebraska and hold the LEAD at half time. We cannot assume they will implode against us in the 2nd half. This is one of the few times I am more concerned about our defense than the offense.

If we finally put all 3 parts of the game together today, we'll easily win. But if we do it will be the first time this year that we will have done so. Personally, I think Mitch is injured. My guess is his throwing shoulder. He threw a couple of passes down field and could not get it over the heads of undersized D backs. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

Yeah, because Smith, Leidner, Wolitarsky, and the entire offensive line are also out......

Geez, if the Gophers can't beat a team like Purdue because one RB is injured, then this program is in worse shape than people think.
