Finally the official start to the season is here. Season 4 of the Ben Johnson Era will end in either an NCAA Tournament or in a job search and new energy.

We have depth, we have some talent. But Oral Roberts will not be a pushover. But the way this staff set up the non-conference schedule, we can't slip up in money games like this at home, if we want to reach Selection Sunday's 22 win goal.

Let's enjoy being back in The Barn for a game that matters and let's get to 1-0.

BTN+ has it's own app for a TV. I use it on a roku just fine so it should work for a smart TV.
 

Frank Mitchell expected to be out. I'm thinking Edmunds will start in his place.

Yeah, it works with Roku, Firestick, Xbox and Apple TV. It doesn't work directly with my Samsung TV, or with the DirecTV Streaming boxes I have. I do have a Fire TV box somewhere, which I presume would work the same as a Firestick, but at this point, I'm just annoyed enough to not want to bother finding out.
 



Hey gang, ready for another Gopher hoops season? Let's go!

I have also done a deep dive into the Golden Eagles. It turns out Anthony Roberts 73-77; Rich Fuqua 69-73, and Mark Acres 81-85 have used up all their eligibility and won't be suiting up tonight. All three have had their number retired by OR.

The current squad does not appear to have the firepower of the 1974 one that reached the elite 8 after upset wins over Syracuse and Louisville, ultimately losing to Kansas 93-90 in OT.

Oral Roberts does keep it closer than we'd like but the Golden Gopher hang on for the win 73-68.

I get the app on my Roku TV. It works great. I saw both exhibitions and the women's game against Central Connecticut on Monday.

Anyone have a radio feed listing? To far away from the cities and KFAN I'm pretty sure won't play the game over stream. (Dumb and could be wrong on that) the radio listing for the Gopher radio network is about as hit and miss as the team is! Tune into a channel it says its in and I get high school hockey or 60s music 🤣

Radio: KFAN 100.3 FM

I play it over stream all the time when I work in the yard.

You should be able to stream the radio broadcast online, usually there is a link from the schedule page at gophersports.com

iHeartRadio app should get you access to KFAN.

You should be able to download the Big Ten Plus App on your Smart TV, then log in on your TV. I do that with my Fire TV.
 






This announcer sounds like the “boom goes the dynamite” guy.
