3-8 vs 3-8 in a pivotal game to get into Weakling Wednesday of the Big Ten Tournament. A lot on the line for these two bubble teams. These are the February games that make March legends.

Gophers need to keep the crowd out of it, hopefully play Asuma good minutes in the 2nd half and not get a big enough lead that coaching decisions won't play a role.

GET 'ER DONE JOHNSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Nittany Lions would have a formidable front court if Frank Brickowski, John Amaechi, and Calvin Booth were suiting up tonight. Unfortunately, none of those former Penn St. "stars" have any eligibility remaining. Also, Bruce Parkhill will not be directing things from the sidelines.

State is favored by 7.5 and the smart money has them covering tonight against a Gopher squad that has a difficult time finding scoring options.

ah.....gophers basketball......some talk being on the bubble for the NCAA tourney....not here! the bubble is about the conference tourney!!!
Per SI, that's the bar Ben needs to clear to keep his job....

It's a thread on here...
ahhh hadn't seen that. But reading the story I wouldn't say the writer was saying he only needs to make the Big Ten Tournament to keep his job. National guy so doubt he has a real strong read on the situation, and was just looking for places that might be making a change in the off season.

I read that more as him saying if we don't make the Big Ten Tournament the coaching change is likely a lock.

Interesting side note that the next name on the list is Craig Smith.

What is the favorite blues song of Gopher fans, because we're going to be singing that song after tonight's game.

Yeah and I think those here thinking of Will Wade can shut those thoughts down. LOL

Bet on the gophers winning and Garcia scoring a lot of points. Seems like the only logical way for them to win is Garcia scoring a lot.

And Myles Dredd has ended his 10 year term with the Nittany Lions

Bryce-Jordan the least intimidating venue in the Big Ten, even more so than The Barn.

Need to get this one tonight, and then beat the Nitts a second time in a couple weeks.
