Big Ten opener for Indiana tonight at Assembly Hall, and it doesn't seem like this Hoosier squad is that good. They got beat badly by Louisville and Gonzaga, though they did beat South Carolina and Providence.

Until I see otherwise, it's hard to see the Gophers winning too many Big Ten road games, but if there is a road game they have a shot at, tonight may be it.

Good to have Mitchell back in the lineup, but we need a lot more than just him and Garcia.

Time for Johnson to find it.

This is not a good matchup for us on the front line- Ballo, Renau, Mgbako.... They are going to need Edmunds to have a good night. Frank is not going to be able to handle these guys IMO.

This is my problem with not getting Edmunds as much time as possible early in the season so he would be better prepared. Now when you need him because of matchups he just isn't ready.
 

I will be amazed if the boys keep it within single digits. Our rebounding is so bad that even a sub-par Indiana team will have enough second and third chance opportunities to put us away. Plus, this UMN squad is made up of mid-major seniors who have never experienced the intensity of a hostile B1G environment like Assembly Hall. Expect the boys to limp out of Bloomington with their tails between their legs.
 




I dunno, Woodson is Johnson with a much larger NIL. Lot of fans want him gone. AD reportly wanted to fire him after the B1G tournament last year and get Dusty May, but Woodson's buddy Quinn Buckner is on the Board of Trustees and squelched that plan.

I remember Quinn when he played corner on the football team. As I recall he could play.

I just don't know about this team. Transfers underwhelming. Shooting terribly from all distances. Not attacking the rim. I was hoping for a more connected, older experienced group of players that would pass more, dribble less, go up-tempo and get better shots prior to clock expiring. They have to prove themselves in this league. Not so sure, but they have had moments that lead me to believe they can get better. Come on Gophs!
 



I'm watching, just to see at which point they let the game get away from them.

Right now, I'm thinking 10:13 remaining in the first half.
