There really isn't any way we can over-emphasize how big of a game this is. The usual, win and advance, lose and season over drama is enough. Throw in the possibility this could be the last time we ever see Rodney and Trevor in a Gopher uniform and that makes it even bigger. Then top it off with the consistent media drum beat that if the Gophers lose we could have a coaching change on our hand. Well, only one thing to do, win this whole damn thing! Let's get after it!

Just a reminder, our game will be tipping off a little later then the shceduled start, it won't tip at 8:57 pm central. That beacuse Florida game is tipping at 6:40 pm central now.

Q. Travis, can you talk specifically about the challenge of going one on one with Mbakwe if that does happen to you?

TRAVIS WEAR: We have some pretty good bigs that we have played against in this league, some big teams. Mbakwe, he's big, he's going to be a challenge, but if I force him off the block, I don't think it will pose that big of a problem, compared to some of the other guys I played against in the PAC 12.

UCLA's Ben Howland and Minnesota's Tubby Smith are facing intense speculation back home, and some nationally, that anything but a deep postseason run could cost them their jobs. Beating the other guy could help cool down their courtside seats a bit.

Totally agree, Dean. Unfortunately there are too may GopherHolers that would prefer the team lose so Tubby gets fired. That attitude is disgusting to me.
