Opportunities like this don't come around often. Get 'er done Jerrry!!!!!

Stan started the thread. That seals the deal. We are victorious tomorrow! Undefeated at home! Let's do it.

When we lead at halftime we can all start celebrating right? What's Kill's record now like 23-0 when leading at halftime?

Here's the good news from a national exposure angle, we are on ABC across the country with no other great games to compete with at the 11:00 am time slot. Meanwhile, there are three compelling late games. Granted, The third compelling game for me is cheering for Northwestern to pull off an upset over Notre Dame.

TCU, Iowa, and now Ohio State. All 3 Saturday's, off of work, all 3 Saturday's woke up at 3am and not a chance of falling back to sleep! So here I sit, in anticipation. Nice to be in this position as a team and watch games like this.

"Maybe they have 60 five-star players on their roster, but they can only play 11 at a time, just like we can only play 11. The whole key is making your 11 believe they can compete."

Quote from Tracy Claeys. I love reading/hearing some of his quotes! He comes across as a very smart football coach who can motivate and get the most out of his players! Every once in awhile I read or hear a quote from him and just think, what a brilliant way of looking at x, y, or z.

As a former head coach, you don't know how true that statement is. At the start of the game today, we think that we can play with Ohio State, but don't know for sure. If we can keep this game close going into the second half, we will believe that we can do it. That's when the underdog gets dangerous. The favorite wants to bury them early and leave no doubt. But, if we can stay close, the second half today could be a whole lot of fun!

The Gophers often play EM & BBC on an island so the Safeties can be aggressive on crossing patterns and runs. Will they try to do the same against tOSU? Not sure they can, but if they don't the RB & (especially) the QB runs will kill us, IMO. I think we need to see if our CBs can shut down their WRs 1 on 1. We couldn't against TCU (similar talent) and I'm not sure we can today, but I'm also not sure we have a choice but to try. Thoughts?

The keys to winning are create turnovers and don't allow a lot of big plays on defense, and don't turn it over and shorten the game by sustaining long drives on offense.

I saw the box score for Michigan-Northwestern last week. I would highly recommend watching paint dry first.

Coach Kill's pregame speech today:

"Great moments... are born from great opportunity. And that's what you have here, today, boys. That's what you've earned here today. One game. If we played 'em ten times, they might win nine. But not this game. Not today. Today, we run with them. Today, we stay with them. And we shut them down because we can! Today, WE are the greatest football team in the world. You were born to be football players. Every one of you. And you were meant to be here today. This is your time. Their time is done. It's over. I'm sick and tired of hearing about what a great football team Ohio St. has. Screw 'em. This is your time. Now go out there and take it."

Is that all?

What a nice warm Minnesota welcome! It 's fourteen degrees and snowing (84% humidity).

You couldn't ask for a more perfect weather from which legends will be created this day.

We will be reminiscing about this day forever!

About to head out from the pregame to TCF, just a warning to people seeing the student section on TV word around campus this week is most kids won't be showing up right away in order to try and make it through the entire game. The sophomore crew has got the hand and boot warmers out though, we'll be there front and center. Go Gophs!!! The cops aren't ready for the Ohio St. riots!!

Gold Gold White uniforms today.

Oops didn't see there was a whole new thread on this topic. Ski U Mah and kick their buckeye butts.

Anyone still mad they ripped up your precious field for the heating coils?

A little off topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread for it, but who would we rather win today between wisconsin and nebraska?

All 4 guys on Gameday picked OSU. Let's prove a point this week! Go Gophers!!
