***OFFICIAL EASTERN MICHIGAN AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Man, really big game next week.

Really big. North Carolina may get highlights because of the overtime thriller -- putting the MN-UNC game on ESPN. Minnesota won. Wisconsin is on the ropes. Illinois lost. UNC may have a questionable secondary and a defense not yet proven over several games: good in week one and then not as good today.

He did.
It was clear from go

Also gotta throw-in his aversion to showing anything in a Non-Conference game if he doesn't have to. Once he got the lead, and the defense started shutting down EM, he was just going to keep shoving the ball down their throats. Fans complain but he gets the wins.

Never really worried. Nice turn from last week. On to North Carolina...

agreed 100%. he does still seem to be learning al ittle bit how to win versus teams he has massive talent advantage against (maybe some layover from WMU where they were more "even"). I'd love to see a little more killer instinct/bury on these teams. EMU never threatened this defense and it would've been nice to have distance at half time. In all honesty, i don't think we can ever be labeled as creative enough in the future to have been "hiding things" in the past games, but maybe this'll be the year like when we unleashed the Bucky/Ky jet that killed Colorado and multiple other teams.

Occasionally, PJ lives up to his pathetic ACT score and not having the twos in the game there at the end was a good example of how dumb he can be.
Why not give the back-up quarterback some playing time - we may need him (and he looked better in the Spring game than Athan). Keeping the best players on the field after victory assured is a consistent policy with PJ and not a good one.

Impressive defense in the 2nd half. Rossi seems to have an uncanny aptitude to make 1/2 time adjustments. If your unwilling to give Fleck any credit remember he's the one who hired Rossi.
