Offensive Line Question?

Did we lose any starters/ main contributers from last years squad? I can't remember losing any impact players on the o-line.

Nope. we lost jason meinke...i think that was his name. He didnt start.

Which is why we still suck this year at running the ball. If you don't have talented players another year of experience ain't gonna do anything. Can't teach athleticism.

There is something to be said about some improvement, just a year of extra experience should help. Another year of weights should help.

Agreed. Looks like we are bringing in some depth - certainly doesn't hurt. In a year or so, there's got to be 4/5 guys who can get it done, right?

But seriously, bring in some guys who can move, get downfield.

We did recruit/replace a number of starters on the line. The right side, in particular, features a JUCO Brewster recruited after last season and a junior transfer from Notre Dame who Brewster said would make us better. Unfortunately, they're not any better than what we had.
