I wait tables at Buffalo Wild Wings, and the coach of Cary Grove High School (I live in Illinois) came in to watch college football on Saturday. I ended up talking about Jerry Kill and the Gophers, and he talked about this potential beast of a Linebacker that just started getting some reps at Fullback his senior year. Here is an article on him being given "Fox Valley Athlete of the Week"

For reference, this is the same Fox Valley Conference that has Crystal Lake South High School, a team that current Gopher commit Chris Streveler has faced. Woodstock is only 20-30 minutes from Cary down Route 14. Jerry Kill probably still has a lot of ties in the area, considering Northern Illinois is only about an hour from here. It will be interesting to see how he improves as his season progresses, and see if he gets some decent offers. I'll try to keep you guys updated.

Thanks for the information. Keep us updated.

With their limited scholarships I don't see him getting a Gopher offer (unless it's for a preferred walk on spot).

I did like this part of your link though:
Spotless: Marian Central quarterback Chris Streveler has completed 64.5 percent of his passes this season for an area-best 1,027 yards and 11 touchdowns. Better yet, he has zero interceptions.
