Major blown opportunity in Iowa- down 17 with 4 minutes to go they are toast. NW was set up with a EASY schedule where they are likely to be favored in every game except at Wisky. Tonight would have put them in great position to finish at least 10-8 and maybe 11-7. Unlike us I think they could get in at 10-8. Now at 5-7 that won't be easy. This will make their game with us on Saturday a must win for both teams.

This weekend game is on Sunday, not Saturday.

That's disappointing. Really thought they would finish with a winning b10 record, or at least even.

Disappointing? That's great! If they finish above .500, then it's more competition for an at-large. We need all the help we can. Keep tanking NW

Sure, I guess it mildly helps you guys, but I'm not a big believer in getting too much help from other teams to get into the tournament. It was down to either the Gophers or Northwestern to try to get the Big Ten a sixth bid, and now Northwestern is a long shot at best. I only meant disappointing from a Big Ten fan standpoint...I'd love to see as many teams in as possible.

On a side note, when did Northwestern switch to blue uniforms? Purple was much better.
