It was obvious we were not mentally or game prepared for Illinois. The same last week against Purdue. The 1st half, even more so the 1st quarter.

Will we bounce back or go into the tank. I'm not talking about winning but talking about how we play.

Can the team and the coaches (I am talking about both) rebound or do as we have seen in the past, basically give up for the rest of the season.

Look what Penn State did the last two weeks. Lost what should have been a win but bounced back and darn near beat Ohio State.

Can we "bounce back?" We will see, Coaches and Players, we will see!

Wait a second. How do we know they weren't prepared well? Couldn't it be that we were simply over-rated? If you've watched this entire season carefully, it's hard to conclude that we were deserving of a top 25 ranking. It seemed to me that we were more like a top 50; in which case I'd say we've played pretty darn well given the players we have. I think they're making great progress and achieving more than most teams could with these same players. I salute these players and coaches and give them a ton of credit!!

I say this only on the way the first Quarter was played. We were not ready. As the game progressed we were better. Forunatey we won one and lost the other.

If we start that way against Iowa, well, we better not if we want to win>
