Giving proper credit to GH poster Ope3, the first order of business for Lil' Ricky (after talking to Dre Hollins & The Big 3) should be to reward those who attend games at Williams Arena:

How about a home-and-home series with the old man starting this November/December in The Barn? Wouldn't that be cool to have the likely defending champs at our house?

Louisville of the yet-to-be-named conference @ Minnesota of the Big Ten Conference. ... make it happen. I seem to remember Mr. Teague mentioning shortly after he was hired that he wanted to provide a better home schedule for Gopher season-ticket holders. Opportunity knocks.

They gave FIU a home-and-home, from what I read.

On what appears to be a big day, a big post with a big idea!

Have a chat with Mr. Jones, Vaughn & Travis & say, more or less, "We're gonna rock this b!tch up!" & "We're gonna run this town tonight!"

Meet with team.
Meet with Big 3 - tell them they are priority #1.
Call Ellis
and.... hire Ryan Saunders JK JK JK

Coach Pitino is our coach. Lets all rally behind him. He wasn't my choice 1, 2, 3, or even 4, but he is now my coach!

#1: Booths at Sex World
#2: Meet with the team
#3: Meet with the Big 3
#4: Call Ellis

He could have a top 10 recruiting class in his first year if he gets the big three!!!!

What a way to make a statement.

Facilities upgrade HAS to be the first order of business

I wasn't a big fan of firing Tubby after the Gophers most successful season (from an NCAA tournament perspective) in 23 years. Espacially given that we welched on our end of the practice facility deal. Big boosters and the local media seemed to be the #1 and #2 proponents fo showing Tubby the door. Ultimately, I'm fine with the decision and will be a cheerleader for the new coach (whether it be Pitino or someone else).
I feel very strongly, though, that everyone who spent time, ink, energy and/or money playing a part in Tubby's departure shouyld spend an equal amount of resources on getting our facilities upgraded.
I hope Teague calls up every big booster and tells them that that they need to be equally commited to building the program as they sometimes be to tearing it down.

Okay, I'll get off the soapbox now.

Tearing things down is cheap and easy, building requires real strength, fortitude and effort...that is why we honor the builders of the world.

Or, as I heard it once stated... Any jackass can kick down a barn door; it takes a skilled carpenter to build one.

Isn't the ACC keeping the same name? Maybe they can match up in the challenge. I'm really hoping for a better NC schedule--that was one of the worst parts of th Tubby era.

I just had a terrible thought. Pitino might just move us "Old Farts" up to the second deck and give our good seats to the rowdy students. ACK!!!!

Louisville will spend one year in American Athletic Conference

ya Louisville is joining the ACC

Louisville doesn't join the ACC until 2014-15. They'll spend one year in the American Athletic Conference (formerly Big East), which just announced its new name yesterday.

Good! Something needs to be done about the abysmal barn atmosphere. Maybe NT/RP will allow more creativity too...and not of the vulgar variety
