Not sure this applies to us, but Rose Bowl getting $152MM makeover

The Vikings might move to LA to play there making the Gophers a hotter ticket...

It would also ensure a steady source of revenue for decades by requiring UCLA and the Tournament of Roses—both supporters of the plan—to extend their leases to 2043. The tournament organization also agreed that Rose Bowl games will be played only at the Rose Bowl for the duration of the lease.

That gives the Gophers 33 years to get their sh*t together in order to make my dream a reality.

In a some what off topic but related note., Nebraska has decided to expand Memorial Stadium by 5000 seats. Total Cost $56 Million. Not completely unreasonable.

Also Ndamukong Suh donated $2 million to put iPads in every Husker lockers. Makes a lot of sense to do that. Think of all the benefits. You could upload video to any player, position, group or the entire team, post practice, lifting, training tables, class times for each player. Never mind the recruiting aspect. How cool would it be to walk into the locker room and see your highlight reel playing on an iPad on YOUR future locker.

Maybe part of that $152 million is for better security so random coaches at also ran schools don't sneak into the stadium and steal pieces of the turf.

Might have to include anti-aircraft protection.

Some coaches are inclined to use their helicopters when the need arises.
