7-0 Wildkittens!

About time Big Ten representin' early!

That was a pathetic final 2 minutes of the half. They wanted too badly to preserve their 1-TD lead going into halftime.

Well, we'll see if they can pull this one out and move our Big Ten to 1-1 in bowls

Northwestern has looked very good, with the one exception of that punt return. If not for that one play, they'd be dominating this game.

Yeah, Mizzou is getting totally outplayed sofar.

Northwestern is really hanging in there. I was thinking that their defense was a little overrated and would get exposed by a good Big 12 offense, but they're definitely holding their own so far.

The Big 12 is good, but not as good as everyone thinks. They had a lot of ranked teams but every one of them may have been ranked a lot higher than they should have been. Missuori, for instance, struggled to beat Illinois in week 1. But their win against Illinois was about 70% of the argument that the Big 12 was better than the Big Ten. Then, Illinois got beat by everyone in the Big 10.

The refs (complete with thick Southern drawl) are doing everything imaginable to keep NW from winning.

WOW, NW really lucked out with that missed FG!

OT baby!! More football!

Well Big Ten is 0-2, our Gophers are next Big Ten team to try to represent!

Chase Daniel Lovefest

Did anyone else get annoyed with the constant TV presence of Chase Daniel's family? Did no other players (on either team) get tickets for their families?

After the 15th showing of the family I really started pulling for NW. Someone might want to tell the Daniels family that just because a field goal gets airborne doesn't mean it's good.

I wish ESPN had some sort of competition, we're lucky to have a tv still after the Boise/TCU game.

Two mistakes killed the Cats

They punted right to Maclin instead of out of bounds with a minute left in the half - and before that had a third and one and a half from about the Missouri 35 and instead of running it twice (Sutton was hot), they THREW (shades of Dunbar), then missed a 47-yard field goal. Had they picked up that first, they might have scored another 7 or 3. Without the Maclin return, they might have been up 13-3 or better at half, instead of 10-10. Overall, though, good game for the Cats.

We have to play them, plus three of the best running backs in the nation next year (Cal, MSU, Iowa), plus Ohio State and Penn State and Wisky.

I agree that Greene will probably turn pro he has trouble staying eligible apparently.
