To be honest, I don't know. This is the same Northwestern team we beat by, what?, 27 points the last time we played them?? There are always different ways of looking at things.

But, to be sure, if you would have told me that Northwestern would go on the road and beat BOTH Michigan State and Purdue at the beginning of the season, I would have told you to lay off the crack pipe!!!!

I think Northwestern winning may have helped us. The loss at Northwestern is considered our worst loss, that is not a bad loss at all anymore. Plus, our big win over them looks better. Most of the bubble teams we're up against have really bad losses!
