Looking to be on the cool side for a game this early in September with an 11am kick, temps in the 50s. Might squeak into the 60s by the final horn. Should be dry.

Only question I have is which will be a bigger number:
The temperature at kickoff or the gophers margin of victory?

I don't think there is any threat of a frost warning for the Twin Cities.

Trending towards a chance of showers on Saturday.

Boo.

That game had EVERYTHING.

Cool morning, warmer than expected when the sun came out, then wind kicked in to remind you the air temp was pretty low ... then rain and a delay that lasted a few seconds ;)

The Demon's players had to think yesterday was nuts.

Cool for September when the sun was not out...warmed up quick though when the clouds parted, plus a hard sunshine to boot.

Then the rain came through...then was gone...and then back again...and then a lightning delay? Wind picked up too...

Perfect football weather of course...if you planned for it.

Tanner Morgan indicated when Northwestern State flew out of Louisiana, the daytime high was 104.
