The fall-out from NUs firing Bill Carmody has begun with their top recruit, 4 star Jaren Sina, de-committing tonight. Sina will now consider Seton Hall, Rutgers and NU. NU was well aware that Sina's commitment was based on his relationship with Carmody. Losing a recruit of this stature is devastating and puts big pressure on AD Jim Phillips to pick a new coach who can improve the program.

How many players are going to leave the program as a result of the coaching change, if you make a change there is a good chance you will end up gutting everything and start over with a two/three year rebuilding project. It really has to be a long term decision.
