It sounds like Jerry Kill is the type of guy that doesn't burn any bridges. It seems we're hearing a lot about him from people that he's dealt with in the past. No one has said anything bad about him. That says a lot about his character.

The only thing I disagree on in this article is the reference to "Gopher Nation". We're not the Gopher Nation. That term was copied from numerous college football programs by an inept coach that is no longer with our program.
 


Bleed probably has a Google alert set up for "Gopher football" or "University of Minnesota AND football." It's pretty easy to create; you typically have to sift through a lot of other articles though, so it's nice Bleed does this for everyone.
 


Thanks to Bleed for finding these articles. I am getting a little more excited about Coach Kill as time goes on.
 

Bleed, great find, but not a surprise coming from you. The more I read about Kill the more I think he is a gift. Maturi is the luckiest dog in the Twin Cities. He screws up one thing after another and we've got TCF Stadium, Tubby Smith and now, possibly Jerry Kill is #3. Fifteen years from now the GH may be talking about when are we going to get another great AD like Maturi. Jeesh!
