Northbound 35W Closed This Weekend

MnDOT is closing northbound 35W through south Minneapolis from 11:45 PM Friday night through 5 AM Monday morning.

For those of you going to the game from the south or southwest, be aware of this and plan accordingly.

Not the best timing of course, but really not a big deal. The 3 main available northbound detours are easy as pie, don't require much additional travel and don't add much time at all if one is making their way to the U of M campus. i.e. Highway 100, Cedar Avenue, Hiawatha Avenue/State Hwy 55 and get you where you need to be anyways.

They're just doing surveying work, if there was a national emergency I'm sure it would be reopened right away.
