Back to back in the sixth round. Some other interesting local names (Dan Vandervieran, Bruce Price) and national names (Alando Tucker, Durrell Summers, Eric Devendorf, Chris Taft) on the list.

I think there's a wonderful book to be written about minor league basketball somewhere out there.

Jamaal Tinsley to the D-league? Somehow I highly doubt Jamaal will agree to play in the league. Former Iowa Hawkeye Jake Kelly (transferred to Indiana State after 2 years) went strangely early in this draft. When I read the post I was hoping Al or Lawrence ended up being drafted by Iowa so I would have a reason to go to a few games (assuming they didn't go overseas instead).

Don't forget MSU-Mankato's Marcus Hill was also selected number 1 in the seventh round. Had a very solid college career. Improved tremendously from his time at Breck to the end of college.

Good to see. I know the D-League isn't the NBA, but it's a start. Hopefully they play well enough to get a shot. I think Nolen has an edge over Westbrook, but both could see some time in "The League".

Where can we expect to see Cody Schilling selected in this draft next year? Top 5? Top 3?

Oh wait, never mind. He'll be selected in the Top 5 of the NBA Draft.

Al! - Getting paid to play basketball. Atta boy
