Grisby did not travel with the team, remained in San Jose due to what was reported as a knee injury incurred on Wednesday.

Interesting. Isn't either Fales favorite target this year so far?

Hopefully SJSU doesn't have its "next man in" Brick by Brick installment completed yet.

trudat. you just know the 1st set of downs from SJSU is gonna be 6-10 yd outs. let em have em early on and then its pic6 salad.

82 catches, 1,307 yards, and 9 TD's last year. Ouch. I think they have pretty solid WR depth but this hurts them no doubt.

I liked this line from their board where I assume they are talking about Rowdy R. Williams.

What I'm a little worried about is our safeties being able to tackle a 235lb RB. That guy is a load. There are going to be times when our SS Conette is going to get a shot at him at the line of scrimmage. Simon is going to be giving up 30lbs in the collision. I hope he is up for the challenge.

The kid has more career receptions than any other player currently playing college football. So, yes, this is a big hit for them.

That board is free. It is just lots and doom and gloom regarding their season with the loss of their top WR.

I tried it, you had to have an account to access. I guess, I would assume the account to sign up is free?

Grisby's stat line:

10 rec., 106 yards, 2 TD's through 2 games.

Grigsby is Fales' (and his predecessor Faulkner's) go-to guy for the Spartans for 3+ years. Number one receiver except Freshman year when he caught 56, which was only 4 less than the number one guy.

39 games 237 catches 3121 yards 80.0 Ave. per game 13.2 per catch 17 TDs. Averaged 76 receptions per year F/So./Jr.

This is a huge loss for SJSU. Huge. Jabari Carr and Chandler Jones (especially) will pick up the slack. GET THE PRESSURE ON.

You can sign in with a throwaway name and fake e-mail addy. There is no confirmation required to sign up.

So much doom and gloom that after factoring in that Grigsby is out for this game, not a single poster there has predicted a Gopher victory.

Oh, gotcha. I just saw the sign in and figured I couldn't sign up. Thanks for the clarification though!

Bummer for him, not for us.

Hope he heals up 2 minutes after the game is over on Saturday.

I was referring to the thread over there about Grigsby and the general consensus this is a major blow to their season. Not sure why you feel the need to nit pick. You even quoted my comment "It is just lots of doom and gloom regarding their season with the loss of their top WR."

Hopefully, a couple SJSU fans will make it out of bed in time to see the game.
